Customers should understand that cushions need an opportunity to drain, dry, and air out especially after significant rain or moisture exposure.
Sunbrella upholstery fabric is water-resistant, not waterproof. It repels light rain and spills by making water bead up on the surface, but heavy or prolonged rain will eventually soak through the woven material. We suggest using ScotchGuard for added durability, covering or bringing in your cushions during heavy ready, and allowing cushions to dry out by leaning the seat cushion against a wall.
